Unknown JTAG device id

Hi,

I tried the jtag debug link and was told Unknown JTAG device id.

ERROR! Unknown JTAG device id = 04ba1093
ERROR! Failed to detect JTAG chain devices!

The JTAG debug interface adopts AHBJTAG, with a built-in TAP of Xilinx UltraScale+ XCVU19P.

The device ID value matches the Xilinx datasheet, it should be that GRMON does not have built-in recognition for this ID.

Does the team have any plans to add support for this device in GRMON ?

I will add it to my todo list to include it in the next release. We don’t have any date for the next release yet.

Maybe GRMON needs to be updated to support the new device ID (GAISLER_APBUART_16550) introduced by the grlib-gpl-2024.1-b4291.

$ grmon -eth

ERROR! GRMON Evaluation version does not support this hardware design. If a design contains GRLIB IP cores that are not distributed under GPL license, then an upgrade to GRMON professional version is required. Please consult the GRLIB IP Core User's Manual for details on IP core distribution.
