LEON5 download for eclipse

Hello,

I tried to install LEON-5 ver. 1.6.4 using Eclipse (ver. 2024. 9).
When downloading LEON5 from Eclipse, refer to the following site.

In step 3, enter the name “GAISLER” and the URL https://www.gaisler.com/eclipse/lide_kepler.

However, I could not do so because of the following error message :

Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found.
 Software being installed: LEON IDE 1.6.4 (com.gaisler.lide.feature.group 1.6.4)
 Missing requirement: LEON IDE 1.6.4 (com.gaisler.lide.feature.group 1.6.4) requires 'org.eclipse.equinox.p2.iu; 
 org.eclipse.cdt.debug.mi.core 0.0.0' but it could not be found.

The words “LEON IDE” appear, so it is recognized, but I cannot proceed with the installation.

I seem to be missing some software needed for installation.
Without LEON5, nothing will be researched.
Please tell me if you have any suggestions.

The LIDE plugin will only work with a very old Eclipse version. It is not maintained anymore.

Read and follow the quick start guide instead, which only uses built-in Eclipse plugins and can med used with a modern Eclipse version.
