# Large Physical Addressing

Hi,

I see that leon-linux-5.10-1.8 has added support for 36-bit physical addresses.

Will new LEON hardware be included in the next GRLIB ? Also, does NOEL have a corresponding plan ?

Hi WEI,

You may have already seen the release notes, but no, LEON does not yet include the support for extended addresses. This effort is being made as part of the ongoing GR765 development, but it will take some time before it can find its way into the master branch of GRLIB.
