# APBUART FIFO SIZE Limit

Is it possible to increase the size of the apbuart from its current maximum of 32 bytes to 512 bytes, i.e, change the generic? Will that break anything?

```
fifosize : integer range 1 to 32 := 1;

fifosize : integer range 1 to 512 :=1;

```
